01 / Engineering & Implementation

  • Engineered an enhanced Linux desktop and HTPC client for Crunchyroll powered by Castlabs Electron (Widevine CDM), published on the Ubuntu Snap Store (v2.1.0) with full mouse, trackpad, and window-management ergonomics.
  • Built Smart Auto-PiP (F10) and Floating Mini-Player (F9) modes in the Electron main process: switching focus away (Alt+Tab) automatically shrinks the app into a pinned 560x315 floating window and restores it to full size in one step when returning.
  • Added GNOME MPRIS hardware media-key & lock-screen controls, HUD-free anime frame capture (Ctrl+Shift+S), in-drawer season switcher, custom Crunchylists management, watch-history controls, and customizable subtitle typography.
  • Implemented synchronized 3-second cursor and HUD auto-hide with real screen-coordinate delta filtering, click-and-drag timeline scrubbing, hover-to-open sidebar navigation, and dynamic 1080p aspect-ratio zoom scaling.
